You know, I think you might be right -— about that newspaper changing ownership. IIRC, the old lady passed away. I recall that my husband, DrO, knew her, (he’s also passed) and now that you have mentioned it, I sort of remember he told me she had died. I know that she was really OLD.

Yeah, their endorsement of Chris Christie was a doozie. I mean, who’s going to forget his buddying-up with Obama right before Election 2012 due to Hurricane Sandy?

Christie has some responsibility for Romney losing. Christie was all over the news praising Obama and kissing his butt for his help and assistance for New Jersey. SICKENING.

Nacky Loeb died 15 years ago. The newspaper was taken over by the McQuaids, relatives of the original founder of the New Hampshire Sunday News. The paper's drift to the left is more a reflection of New Hampshire's changing demographics starting when people from Massachusetts moved northward to escape the high taxes but brought their loony political ideas with them. I'm glad I moved away while the Old Man of the Mountain was still there and Live Free or Die actually meant something.
