Of course it won’t do any damn good, but this lifelong republican, now at 67 yoa will now register as an independent.

I did it the day after the 2012 election, I was so disgusted. Felt great, didn't want to be part of the eunuchs' party anymore.

Registering as an Independent may hurt you more than it helps, depending on your state’s primary laws. I got over your feelings in 2014 by skipping the Cornyn and George P. Bush races, helped quite a bit.

They called Turkey the “sick man” of Europe in the 19th century. It is now our foolish GOP that is the perpetual “sick man” of the USA. Our primary voters are too uninformed to correct things.
