Perhaps a Test Engineer with no experience operating heavy equipment could get this job a a quarter or less of his previous pay, or perhaps not.

I knoe it’s getting worse, but there are still options available, for now at least- but it might mean moving temporarily— and I think the major companies will be able to keep things going for awhile while they wait out the lower prices- The smaller companies are the ones really hurting- (well all companies are really)- let’s just hope the major companies can open up ‘temporary jobs’ for those losing their jobs- would be a good time for companies to get ‘cheaper labor’ to do the maintenance and clean up jobs that they’ve been putting off or running behind on-
