Can anybody sense the obvious problem with this line of argument? Cruz denies that he ever supported legalization. Breitbart also neglects to tell its readers that Cruz supported legalization even after the Gang of Eight fight was over.
Have you read the committee amendments offered by Cruz, Sessions and Lee?
Senator Cruz fought the very bill that granted legalization. Somehow, that’s a pro-legalization position?
Cruz would have just joined with Rubio if he were for legalization. But he did not.
Cruz would not have opposed Rubio, Schumer et al if he were for legalization. He would have joined them. But he did not.
