BREAKING ICE

Hoyt and Benischeck are pilots assigned to the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron. The crew landed on Kandahar Airfield to airlift mine-resistant, ambush-protected vehicles out of Afghanistan as part of Operation Enduring Freedom retrograde operations.
