Chancellor Angela Merkel said Wednesday ahead of an EU summit that Germany would not give in to Britain's demands for EU reform if it meant sacrificing achievements made by the bloc on integration.
"On the one hand, we want to reach an agreement with the British government," Merkel told MPs in an address to the Bundestag (German parliament) on Wednesday.
"On the other hand, we will not put the fundamental achievements of European integration in question, in particular, the principles of freedom of movement and non-discrimination of European citizens," the Chancellor added. ...

Not everyone who try to cross European borders are European citizens.
The Europeans have completely given up their basic security when they let hordes non-Europeans from known war zones and terror hotbeds trample across their lands.

Merkel’s approval rating has fallen but she is still over 50%. Which shows the German public, or at least too much of it, doesn’t realize yet what she has done to them.
