The time has come, and is, that we need a candidate like Ted Cruz. I hope he charges on.

I’m glad Cruz is solidly in the 2nd spot. D.C.ers hate him more than Trump.

Cruz has also navigated Washington and knows exactly what to do. He’d be a solid VP pick and a solid Supreme Court pick.

Why would anyuone say that Ted Cruz’ vision had “turned ugly”?

“America First” is not at all isolationist, it is a statement of the very exceptionalism that is unique to the whole concept of “America”.

To say something like anyone’s vision had “turned ugly” is on a par with saying, “God is a horrible entity because He allows bad things to happen in the world.”

Most of the time during the existence of the nation known as “the United States of America”, it was to be a very high calling to do good by doing well. Apparently this concept has fallen into poor repute in recent years, as there is a jealousy and envy of the very successful bordering on vengeful hatred of that success and the badges of that success. But it is the highly successful who have concentrated and directed the efforts of others to also do THEIR best, and in the process, have spread the good will and prosperity far beyond their personal material gains.

“Trickle down”, despite its very bad press in recent years, really does work. There is not, and never shall be, equality of outcome, there is only equality of opportunity, and given that opportunity, people shall continue to rise upward until they hit that invisible but very real ceiling of the maximum of their capabilities, encapsulated so well in something called “Peter’s Principle”.

Only a very few people are able to marshal all their capabilities to rise to the top, and they end up being generously rewarded by material wealth. Others, because of personal inhibitions or simply lack of suitable vision, rise to whatever level of competence of which they are capable, but the error comes when that person is finally promoted to a position beyond his capabilities. This situation is not a problem, unless the position is one that thwarts the further growth of other more capable managers rising to or surpassing that level. What happens then is lateral growth within the organizational structure, and a parallel upward ladder is created, bypassing the original roadblock, and the incompetent that were formerly a roadblock are simply circumvented.

By all odds, Ted Cruz has not risen beyond his potential yet, but there are clearly others up there in competition for the same job who are now in WAY over their depth.

It is not necessary to name names, as there are also several others who themselves are still performing with the expectation they are fully capable of carrying on the duties of the position being sought.

Ted must have gotten under their skin, because the ENTIRE MSM is dumping on him today.

Obviously over the target.
