Yer either fer it or agin it, Ted.
Be a man, take a stand—Black or White.
Otherwise, sayonara.
That’s one of the problems with Cruz. Too much lawyer speak. When read at face value, intend is a harmless word. Sort of like I don’t intend to go to the gym tonight, but I just might. That’s why most of the electorate is sick of politicians and lawyers, because we don’t know what they really “intend”. If you look at who’s funding Cruz and Cruz’s past statements it’s easy enough to figure out what intend really means. And it’s not what most conservatives want.
I am tired of the ‘alarm bells’ of the world. I am tired of every utterance being a drama-mama moment.
This is the main reason I’ll vote Trump over Cruz. Cruz is as weak on immigration as Rubio and Jebbie. He’s been trying to harden his stance to look more appealing to us but before Trump entered the race, immigration was not even a talking point for Cruz.
Sounds definitive to me.
I have never nor do I intend to... the words typically go together.
Jeez.
I don’t intend to eat the last piece of chocolate cake.
Sorry Ted, Rubio cleaned you’re clock. Folks here need to understand that Cruz, while a good conservative, will not be president.
Once the border is airtight, visa holders are completely vetted and proven to be pro-American, and there is a demonstrable need for special skills, even I would consider adjusting H1b visas upward slightly. But, those somewhat low hurdles are not even close to being met at this time.

Oh BULL!
Rubio was trying get Ted to make a pledge, and Ted simply didn’t take the bait.
The problem with any of the questions is what Congress will or not do, then taken to the SC...how they’d rule. Unless we want another ruler by dictate or fiat, like Obama, laws are mainly passed by Congress and can be undone by the courts. To some extent, it means little. You can be 500% for something but the SC rule against you...or Congress pass a veto-safe over-ride.
I think many of us forget that presidents don’t get to implement all their own rules. I know Obama has gotten away with it because we somehow cannot challenge the first black president on legality of anything in case his feelings are hurt....which they daily are. I think we’re supposed to be distressed about that, but I have not been able to raise those kinds of feelings about HIS hurt feelings.
If I have to chose between the conservative instincts of Cruz, or the conservative instincts of Trump, it will be Cruz all the way - regardless of what either says in public. I guess Trump’s praise of Obama in 2009 “trumps” ‘do not intend’ last night as something to be worried about. By 2009, Obama’s policies were not in doubt.
