Donald Trump is slated to meet with billionaire Las Vegas casino mogul Sheldon Adelson on Tuesday, a Trump spokesman said.

Trump is slated to meet with Adelson ahead of tonight's Republican debate, which will be held at Adelson's posh Venetian hotel.

Corey Lewandowski, Trump's campaign manager, confirmed the scheduled meeting.

Adelson spokespersons did not respond to a request for comment.

Adelson is expected to meet privately with multiple Republican candidates gathered here for the debate.

While Adelson, one of the biggest GOP donors in the country, is said to be favoring Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, he has made no final decision on whom to support.

Those close to the billionaire say not to expect an endorsement until sometime next year.

He doesn’t need the money.

He needs Adelson to not donate to his opponents.

But it’s bad when Cruz meets with his big money donors.

They are both in the casino business. Perhaps they are going to talk shop.

Isn’t Adelson a big amnesty supporter?

I wouldn’t take that bet if I were Trump.

Like the Obamacare bigwig that’s said he’ll support Hillary if Trump wins the GOP nomination. I suspect adelson will do the same.

“But it’s bad when Cruz meets with his big money donors.”

No offense but that sounds pathetic, even whiney... You know Trump isn’t looking for anyone’s money. Ask Cruz how many people he plans to deport... Wait, I’ll answer for him, “that’s a discussion we need to have after we secure the border...” I like Ted, but that is a wussy, political non-answer designed to please the ‘cheap labor express’. Wake up, support the ONE non-politician in this race, Donald J Trump!

...also makes no sense why a billionaire realestate developer would be interested in meeting with a billionaire hot shot in Las Vegas. /s

Who better to help with expansion.

Adelson is not a Trump donor. Trump is largely self financing his campaign. Trump does not have and does not want a super PAC. Cruz, Jeb, Rubeo all have super PACs

Trump:
"Hey Shelly,
How much are you and the wife planning to spend to tank me by supporting others, like Rubio and Cruz?"

Agree on all well put points. Cruz is pro amnesty and pro fee trade where the US comes up losers. He’s a politician owned by cheap labor express.
Trump is the man.

He also funded Newt. Cruz and Rubio have been meeting him for possible funding.

Big donors fund people for a reason. Sometimes party is not the issue.

Perhaps they are friends.

More likely frenemies at best. When one of them builds a acsino near another one's turf, that costs somebody money. If they were too friendly, it would perhaps raise the eyebrows of the anti-trust folks.

If Adelson cares about the future of Israel, he better stay away from supporting HRC. Money buys influence with her, but that influence has a short expiration date, limited scope, and can be co-opted at any time.
