Congress Must Act to Keep Weapons Away from Terrorists
News Release.
Rep. Norcross: "Let's Close this Loophole Now"

Cherry Hill, NJ - Rep. Donald Norcross (NJ-01) today joined members of South Jersey's law enforcement community in calling for immediate action to close the so-called "terrorist background check loophole."

The loophole in federal gun laws allows those on the government's terror watch list to legally obtain deadly firearms.
The bipartisan Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act, introduced by Rep. Peter King (NY-02), would close that loophole.

And now their calling not using watch lists in the background checks a "Loop Hole".
I'm betting that if they get their wish the entire membership of the NRA will be put on some watch list.

Norcross daddy is the Democrat Party boss for South Jersey. When Obama gets a cold, the corrupt Jersey Democrat Machine sneezes.

How about closing the loophole that has allowed over 70 on the watch list to be employed by the TSA? The government is a total joke

And GOA, and JFPO, and anyone who has more than 100 rnds of ammunition, and anyone who owns more than one firearm and anyone who owns any weapons in any center fire caliber, and anyone who owns any full auto weapon, and anyone who posted on FR, etc.

Tyranny cannot flourish with an armed populace and a free press. The press is already in the bag for the tyrants, so all they have to worry about is the armed populace, so they go for civilian disarmament. Their goal as frequently stated is "reasonable restrictions" on gun ownership. What they mean by this is a total civilian prohibition on firearms ownership resulting in their ideal, "a society where only the police and military are armed."

There are no "reasonable restrictions" on rights.

This whole “terrorist loophole” thing is nothing more than a nefarious plot to jack up Ruger’s and S&W’s (and Remington’s and Winchester’s) share price.

Hillary and Obama both have large quantities of all those stocks. So does Harry Reid.

(How’s that for a conspiracy theory?)

Perhaps they should close the HLSD loopholes before going after gun owners. Just a thought...

The bipartisan Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act

What a stupid and asinine name for a law.
If the people are TERRORISTS they should be arrested and placed in jail, not put on lists

You don't get it. IN the eyes of the liberals/statists YOU are the terrorist (me too not to be left out). They don't fear any number of jihadists shooting up a few people at Christmas parties, etc. The country has 315,000,000 people and a couple of dozen extra in a day isn't even going to show up as a statistical anomaly. What the left fears is an armed citizenry that can resist their plans for a totalitarian police state.

"And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more - we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward."
Solzhenitzyn

To 0bama and the rest of the Democrats and the establishment Republicans YOU and I are the real terrorists because we can disrupt their plans, at the very least by voting, and in the extreme by taking condign second amendment action.

The totalitarians never give up. They are never satisfied. Each additional restriction is just another step on the path to their goal, a society where only the police and the military are armed. They cannot be reasoned with. They cannot be bargained with. They feel no remorse or empathy for our desire to be free. And they never ever quit. This will only end one of three ways:

  1. We are totally disarmed and every firearm is confiscated from the hands of law abiding citizens
  2. We are killed by their beloved police "resisting arrest"
  3. Enough of them and their JBTs are killed to reset freedom for another generation
