I’m going to wait to see what other polls say. I find it very difficult to think that there’s been this big a swing. We’ll see.

Wasn’t Carson leading before? Trump seems to have stayed in 2nd place...while Cruz has replaced Carson as the favorite.

“Iowa’s 11th commandment is thou shalt be nice. Donald Trump has violated this commandment one too many times. Now he is paying the price.”
So relieved to read this. Was beginning to wonder though I figured if he lost me he would lose others. He whines more than bambi.

In recent days and weeks, Cruz has been endorsed by very influential conservative leaders in Iowa such as evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats and Congressman Steve King. When endorsing Cruz, the former said that "Ted Cruz has a titanium spine," adding that the senator "is a bold and courageous leader."

Considering Vander Plaats' influence in Iowa, it's very likely that his endorsement of Cruz will result in Cruz garnering even more support in the days and weeks leading up to the Iowa caucuses.

And that means that Ted Cruz has now officially become the favorite in Iowa.

The media can't ignore Ted any longer.

Trump is not going to win the GOP nomination. To the glee of Clintons and the left wing establishment he may run a Perot like third party campaign. I don't trust him

Trump supported Single Payer Government run healthcare. He fought against the taking out Saddam Hussein. He has donated, over the years, more to the liberal causes and politicians than he has to Republican ones. His list of recipients include Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, Charlie Crist, Harry Reid, Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Charlie Rangel not to mention Obama’s hand picked mayor of Chicago, Rahm Emmanuel. Trump has no core beliefs. He is in it for himself and, for his own ego. Period. Say what you will about Barrack Hussein Obama. At least he is committed to his left wing ideology Trump has none.

As for Cruz, he is a true Conservative both fiscally and socially. And while Trump has been living in penthouses entertaining limousine liberals, Cruz has been fighting in the trenches for the conservative causes he believes in. I am still undecided but Cruz is certainly a candidate I could support without reservation.

Actually this is not good news for Conservatives even as Cruz is the more Conservative candidate. If one actually conservative candidate does not pretty much run the table on the primaries, the GOPe gets the nomination. If the conservatives split the primaries and keep each other to plurality victories then the GOPe gets the nomination. We get a GOPe we get Amnesty. When we get Amnesty all opposition to the Democrat Party is finished in the time it takes to register 20 million new citizen voters which is what? two years? six months?

Is the tide turning?
Yes. It has turned numerous times.

Walker first lead Iowa. Then Trump. Then Carson. Then Trump.
And now Cruz.

What it tells us is how fk’ed up Iowa voters are.
Flavor of the month type voters.

I believe this poll sponsored by a liberal rag just set Cruz up for a big fall.
After his big rise.

Where can I find “Cruz defense?” A neighbor whom I see on a regular basis has told me he’s not the right man for the job because he “wants to shut down government.”
This woman is in her 50’s, and has been all over the place politically. Used to like Hillary, doesn’t now. Ditto Obama. Ditto Trump. Still soft on Bubba. Thinks muslims are quietly invading America and they should be banned from immigrating. She’s Jewish but thinks Netanyahu is a warmonger. She’s pro-2A and served in the Army (which she never lets anyone forget!) She’s big on government largesse toward citizens and against nearly all foreign aid.
She’s more than twice my age and considers herself wise, so I want to be tactful. But everytime I mention Cruz she dismisses him.
I think I could turn her around if my talking points were a bit sharper.

Time will tell - the dynamics are so different than any other in recent history that it will take some actual results to be able to begin to do any sort of good guesstimate other than the fact that Trump has strong aggregate numbers across a wide base and Cruz is still methodically building his campaign with aspirations to have it all start to gel sometime in the first quarter of 2016.

Those who care enough to want Cruz to be surging can always chip in a bit to solidify support....helping FR out is another worthy cause.

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to FR

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR
