They have virtually no popular support. What makes them think they can win an election?
For over a decade establishment Republicans have been building paper tigers and fooling and lying to people. They are delusional.
I actually heard McConnell say a few days ago that his Senate has been one of the most productive senates in decades because they are blowing out senate bills at three times the rate of democrats when they were last in power.
These are the same do-nothings who are going to launch an attack on Trump when they have no idea what is going on on Main Street. These establishment Republicans have no moral authority or credibility. None!
Plus Trump is a street fighter who will fight until there is nothing left.
The Republicans are too scared of losing. They will fold and all give each other lessons on how to lick Trump’s boots.
They are delusional, greedy, and completely out of touch with reality.
Hillary or a GOPe candidate are one and the same to these people.
The Insiders don’t care if the Repubs win. They want, at any cost, to stop outsiders from getting control of the party.
Winning the election isn't important to them. They would be OK with President Pant Suit.
The important thing for them is to ensure that a non-establishment type doesn't win.

What makes you think they want to win an election? Do you think they have such low support because they really are too dumb to know how to appeal to the base? Never attribute to stupidity what can be easily explained by malice, treachery and corruption.
