Trump being for ethanol is a downer for me. Doesn’t mean I won’t support him, but Cruz back on top.

Both of these guys, need to back off.

They don’t need to go after each other.

Distilling it into ethanol is the only safe use of GMO Corn.

A month ago Trump promised to release a statement or paper “soon” on his position on the ethanol mandate. He hasn’t done it yet. But he certainly seemed to suggest that his position is different than Cruz, who has been strongly against it.

Being for ethanol doesn’t by necessity mean one supports subsidies, does it? He followed his support for ethanol by citing OPEC and saying something along the lines of ‘anything is better than dependence on Mideast oil’. He clearly said his support of ethanol is we need all options other than foreign dependence, and also a lack of obligation (as a candidate) to the oil companies. I’ll bet Trump is also for American oil drilling and refining, but he has no ‘big oil’ donors.

Same here. Ted has the principled position on Ethanol. Trump’s taking the political beneficial position. I’d be happy if Cruz won Iowa and then Trump won New Hampshire. Get rid of the rest of those 1%ers.

I feel similar but will not bite the big one like so many of the absolute idiots who now see ethanol as the single biggest issue to worry about - we are so surrounded by and infiltrated by twits it's a wonder any shred of the Constitution still exists...

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to FR

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR
