The blacks I work with are very down in the dumps since Obama took office; the pictures of him on cubicle walls disappeared fairly quickly when they realized he wasn’t going to pay their rent or buy their gasoline. They bemoan the lost middle-class lives they had just started to experience before he arrived on the scene - new cars, cruises for vacations, etc.; now they spend a lot of time checking bank balances to make sure their bill payments don’t bounce.
Dem racial politics are coming back to haunt them; they whipped their low-information voters into a racial frenzy, and now I suspect many of them won’t settle for anything less than another black candidate on the Dem ticket.
