I am perfectly happy if the Europeons take the Syrians. That will eliminate the need for us to do so.
Of course they may be thinking the same thing about us and that may explain their polls.
The problem with Merkel and her acolytes inviting this flood of immigrants from the Middle East is that large parts of Europe may become unsafe to travel in. Maybe we will need travel advisories about which tourist spots are still safe to visit.
