Donald Trump's incessant criticism of longtime Republican strategist Karl Rove continues, with the leading GOP presidential hopeful now calling Rove an "establishment flunky."
In separate tweets Thursday, the brash billionaire accused Rove, a former senior adviser to President George W. Bush, of making "false statements" both in print, as a columnist for the Wall Street Journal, and on TV, as a Fox News contributor.
The tweets come less than 24 hours after Rove published his latest column, titled "Trump is the Democrats' Dream Nominee," in which he raises questions about the Republican front-runner's electability.

I didn’t see him telling the GOP that they were in big trouble with the base. That they better start honoring there election commitments after 2 election cycles got them both the Senate and House.
I don’t recall that after the Cocran election he said anything about the despicable tactics Boss Hogg used.
Boner and McConnel went to war against the Tea party Rove didn’t warn them that “the chickens would come home to roost”
If Rove were half as smart as he thinks Trump wouldn’t have a totally Pissed off base just waiting for someone who talks straight and wants to get things done for a change.

Karl rove has been the architect of defeat, for the last two election cycles.
Time to put him out to pasture ... although i’d rather send him into the bayou in Spring, with a day’s food in a bag smeared in chicken fat.
Yep. I briefly entertained the notion that the author was saying the Trump's popularity has so unnerved Rove, that Rove can't function in society any more, at least given Rove's WSJ article the other day.
Rove can go to hell.
But if they were that smart, they wouldn't be RINOs in the first place.

No problem w/Trump “hitting” Rove as often as he feels necessary .... about time someone did it.
According to Rove, Trump cannot win the general election but Jeb Bush can. According to Rove, the Republicans need to nominate a moderate candidate who is electable; somebody like Romney or McCain. OK Karl, I understand what you are saying. Shut up and and go away.

He’ll have Rove doing commercials for him all weekend long.

Ditto. Now when something seems out of whack, I just give it time. Like the Muslim moratorium - it came right after Obama’s weak speech to contrast the difference. Voters loved it! I figure he’s focusing on the general now and showing his strength vs more of the same weaknesses.
