Good find. It reinforces my opinion that if we were to be attacked by a nuclear power, we would not respond or retaliate. Obama would not react to an offensive nuclear strike from Russia, Iran or China. It’s free season on us.
I remember John Lott (author of ‘More Guns - Less Crime’) telling of meeting Obama before he was _resident.
According to Lott, Obama walked up to him and said, “You’re the gun guy, aren’t you?” Lott acknowledged that he was. Obama then replied, “I don’t think citizens should be able to own guns.”
As Lott tells it, Obama then turned on his heel and walked off.
So... apparently Obama did attend a college.

He’s already taken their use off the table in response to any attacks on the US.
He’s been downsizing our arms and showing off our bases to the Russians.

The actual sundial in the middle of the Columbia University campus is where demonstrations took place, the most notorious of which from the point of view of 1983, would have been the demonstrations that the Students for a Democratic Society(SDS) fomented the taking over of the campus in the spring of 1968. Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn were part of the spinoff, called Weathermen. This publication, Sundial, was short-lived - not the Columbia College newspaper, The Spectator.
Since his buddy Bill Ayers (having come out of hiding from federal law enforcement following his violent terrorism planning and acts) was living in NYC at that time in the same neighborhood as Obama at the time and was also involved with the radical left, there’s an excellent chance that Ayers or someone of the same ilk, penned this article. Obama later barely admits knowing Aires, even in Chicago, though his political career was officially launched with Bill Ayers in the planning of the trajectory. Obama himself demonstrates again and again that he can’t write and is in need of remedial vocabulary tutoring. One did not have to attend Columbia College to write for Marxist and Communist publications, supported from outside the campus.
