> “Every trick in the book that they’ve ever used that’s always worked to take somebody out is doing the exact opposite with Donald Trump. It’s building him up. And they can’t believe it.”

It’s because he’s one of the people with the difference being he’s a billionaire. As one astute Freeper commented, “He’s like us, only with money”. As Mark Levin I believe describes him, he’s a ‘blue-collar billionaire’.

But a review of his past shows a man with vision who was also susceptible to politically engineered yet unforeseen economic and banking failures, who went from abundant overflowing earned wealth to less than zero wealth, owing hundreds of millions with insufficient assets that had been discounted by financial scandals beyond his control, so much so that he walked one day along a street in Manhattan and saw a homeless man sitting on the sidewalk fumbling with a dollar bill and he thought that the homeless man was at that time worth more than he was. He was humbled, he was torn, suffered a marriage breakup, desertion by investment backers, left alone, and then drew on his faith and the confidence in himself to stage an incredible comeback based on the strong work ethic laid down by his father, by the confidence he had in himself and the power of positive thinking preached by his pastor Norman Vincent Peale.

In my own learning of Donald Trump, I expected to find a dishonest, unprincipled, liar and coward. What I found was to my shock and initial disbelief the complete opposite. To awaken to the reality that this was indeed an incredible human being who is passionate and patriotic about America and Americans, who literally worked his hands to the bone to achieve the highest standards of wealth and prosperity and sincerely wants the same for anyone else who works hard and smart, as evidenced by hundreds and hundreds of his executives who have shown they meet the Trump competency standards, who tells it like it is and instills honesty and truth around him, to become aware of all this and to see how the media has yapped and yelped annoyingly like jackals demanding an undeserved share, brings hurt and insult to one’s sensibilities, and from hurt comes an anger that serves to focus oneself on being vigilant, wise and aware. And the press jackals and the echo chamber they occupy cannot get over the fact they will get nothing at the end of the day except for the opportunity to feed their bellies on the Trump movement for the now moment.

Donald Trump is a walking testament to the work ethic that made America incredibly great. Many of this generation may have missed what this ethic was about, but Donald Trump is still alive and breathing the ethic as a reminder of the thinking of past great generations. Donald Trump was always there in the background but it was a breakdown in ethics that brought him out in this last leg of his lifetime to serve his country and his fellow citizens.

I am reminded by the symbolism of one simple act of one middle-aged lady running with a crowd who were all running after Donald Trump at an Iowa Fair and then finally catching up to him, out of breath she shook his hand and said, “Mr. Trump, I just want to thank you, just want to thank you .... for running”; so simple.

Donald Trump represents Americans and their hopes for the future. He’s a testament that it can be done and he instills a belief that he will do as America’s President all he can to ensure all have the opportunity to live an abundant life in one’s chosen pursuits. Pundits will belittle him by saying he’s merely a crude populist who plays on the fears and emotions of Americans. The whole idea of America is derived from fears and emotions occurring in its history and in its people. The President they want is one that will reflect those fears and emotions and will inspire them to achieve greatness and to overcome the fears and draw from the emotions to achieve great things. It’s not complicated. It involves charisma, inspiration, resonance. No other candidate comes close to Donald in these attributes. Only one candidate comes with attributes that are complementary to those of Donald Trump, and that would be Ted Cruz.
