So, this person had leadership issues from his first unit, (as a Pvt) what does a private know about military leadership with less than one year in service??? It took me about 1 year to better understand the structure and function of Army leadership, then a trip to PNCOC/CA to get the basics. This puke needs to be under Leavenworth. He got better men than him killed looking for him. As my drill Sgts said, excuses are like belly buttons(actually another anatomical body part), everyone has one.

We also have an Islamic Major killer, who shouldn’t have been in the Army or promoted to major, and a PFC who stole secrets and had no place in the army. Perhaps the Army does have a problem with leadership.
Bowe Bergdahl’s in luck... There is no excuse or lie so lame the New York Times and Washington Post won’t buy it. Berghahl’s one of their own and they’ll protect him.
