Indeed...also Steve Moore of Heritage, Hugh Hewitt along with Cesar Conda (Rubio’s chief of staff and the guy who owns Paul Ryan) and Grover Norquist. The GOP destroyed Prop. 187...the same people who are after Trump. Follow the $$....
What a sad commentary for the former land of “B-1 Bob”. He didn’t pay attention to stoking the fires at home and lost to Loretta Sanchz, a fake Mexican who has now invited in every scum from south of the border, and has now shown her sister how to scam the system and get herself elected too.

The thing I don't think you are seeing...is the illegal immigration that is ruining Calif. It's the not the legal 3rd, 4th generation of native Hispanic's that are ruining the state.

I thought illegal immigration was a problem in 1986 when President Reagan instituted amnesty.
It made the blood vessels pop out on my neck.
Since then, I have come to accept the regional history, the role of flow of people from Mexico, etc.
I would prefer it to be different, but it is not going to change by much, and is probably not the most pressing topic.
I consider the overall economic trends to be problematic. High taxes and regulations together with high costs, pushing companies into moving away.
And over paid, over benefited government workers, too.
None of those topics are driven by illegals. And I think that a lot of people we may assume are illegal, are not illegal.
I know an extremely successful large painting contractor. Very conservative. Dislikes illegal immigration. BUT when he needs competent, reliable workers, he has no choice but to hire people he suspects are illegal.
He says the anglos get drugged or drunk with their first check, don’t show up for work at all, etc.
Fixed it.
Not because the "anglos" wouldn't work...but because the illegals..would work for less.
Concrete workers, roofers, carpenter's, plumber's, ditch diggers, you name it....I watched it.
And guy's like your friend....helped cause it. Because he wanted cheaper labor. Period.

My last trip to OC was a shock. Throngs of people everywhere, but it looked like the United Nations.
I asked myself what in the world they were all producing.
All I could come up with for an answer was: More debt and higher taxes. Because the fact is that a large proportion of them are living off government checks, one way or another.
It just ain’t sustainable. At some point the victim of parasites keels over and dies.
B-1 Bob was completely useless at addressing the immigration problem until Loretta Sanchez stole his House seat. There’s no doubt that vote fraud was a big factor in her first win but after that the demographics of the county were changing fast enough that she didn’t have to cheat to win.
You’ll be pleased to know that she’s running for Barbara Boxer’s Senate seat....
