I am wondering if the msm set him up, using him for their political agenda? Just seen the pictures and Mr. Ali does not look good.
I remember when that loudmouth was the most despised boxer back in the early 1960s. Everyone, from the news media to the public, hated him for his mouthy attitudes.
Then he got drafted, resisted, converted to black islam, came out AGAINST the Vietnam war, and got a deferment because he was now an “iman teacherâ€.
Suddenly the News media could not find enough good things to say about him, began a publicity rehabilitation of him and he became the “most beloved†sports figure in history!
Anybody who remembers this loud mouth Muslim and his anti-war stance did not like him. Though I will give him credit for moving the entire sport of boxing to the world center stage. Before Ali it was a colorless rock ‘em sock ‘em robot affair. After Ali attracted the press, Howard Cossel and even US Presidents, he popularized Boxing. So I give him credit for that. The minute he went Islamic, like Malcom X & Co., that was it, he fell into line and influence from yesteryear's Louis Farakhan - Elijah Muhammad. That was it for me and I was a kid at the time and knew he was in trouble...
The best thing that happened to ali Clay was when he fought SMOKIN JOE FRASIER! Frasier lost the match, but he landed one GREAT PUNCH which permanently scrambled Clay’s brains.
He has been punch drunk ever since.
