EXCLUSIVE: Why the Kennedys loathe Andrew Cuomo: He failed to pay tens of thousands for family expenses while married to RFK's daughter, pressured an ally to charge his ex for drug-driving and used Kennedy name to further his ambition
New York Governor Andrew Cuomo failed to pay tens of thousands of dollars into a fund as his share of the family's expenses while married to one of Robert F. Kennedy's daughters, Daily Mail Online has learned exclusively.
The result of his inaction is that ex-wife Kerry Kennedy is considerably worse off than her eight surviving siblings or other members of the Kennedy clan.
And that is why Kerry, 56, has been determined to battle the husband she divorced more than a decade ago for child support for their three daughters, who are all now at Ivy League universities.
'Kerry never thought to check to make sure Andrew was paying the money in while she was married, it was only after they split that she realized,' one inside Kennedy source tells Daily Mail Online.
Cuomo and Kennedy finally came to an agreement on the cash to fund their daughters' education late last week after The New York Post started digging into the matter.

No one cares about Cuomo Kennedy
There was a story somewhere that the reason she left him was that “he had no ambition to move up the political ranks”. Although I don’t like him AT ALL I thought it pretty funny when he became Governor and it was going around that she was furious he had won and moved on and did what she never thought he would do. It was bad enough he was elected, my only silver lining was that a Kennedy was p***ed off she wasn’t in the Governors mansion.
All a bunch of trash.
I read this story and I really have a lot to be thankful for. I have had some incredible highs in my life, personal and professional, and likewise some devastating ‘lost it all’ rock bottom lows. But at no time throughout it all would I EVER want to have become anything like these subhumans.
I actually used to semi-enjoy Sandra Lee's cooking show from time to time, when it was on Food TV. I cannot believe she got involved with that twit Cuomo.
Meanwhile, Caroline bravely carries on as American Ambassador to Japan.
Whatta joke.
Oh my, and the world’s problems rest so much on their shoulders...
Couldn't happen to a nicer guy!
...be thankful she wasn’t handed the U.S. Senate seat that she asked for and thought was deserved.
Once it emerged that she could barely put a complete sentence together, even the media quietly slinked away. Instead, she's ambassador to Japan. Wonder what the Japanese think of that!
This is like “The Fall of the House of Usher”, utterly disgusting people squabbling with only their lawyers winning.
Scratch a liberal/democrat/politician and you find a money grubber willing to sellout any and everybody for the lucre.
“The total cost of tuition and board at Harvard is a little over $60,000 a year, while at Brown it is slightly less, meaning that education costs for the three girls comes to $179,515 a year â $515 more than the New York governor’s pre-tax salary.”
What the article fails to mention is, that $179,515 is just the starting point. My guess is his yearly income is closer to $750,000.00 when the graft and corruption are added in.
They deserve each other, the despicable lot of them.
Zackly!
Modern American jurisprudence!
Lie down with dogs . . .
That theory makes more sense than anything else I’ve heard. The Kennedy’s even got their feet inside California’s mansion. Bet she was pissed that “she” missed New York’s executive palace by divorcing early!
Hillary, on the other hand, took the low-hanging fruit outside the Kennedy’s northeast vinyard, stuck with it as it both flourished and fermented, and got BOTH the governor office (twice) AND the White House, the Senate, and now the White House again!
Trying....trying...
