What does $33 million in TV and radio advertising buy a former top tier Republican presidential primary candidate?
Nada.
Back in July of this year, Bush as polling at the top of the filed of Republican presidential candidates with 17% support, but things began to change almost overnight. Blame Trump for that.
When Jeb Bush saw his campaign begin to spiral down the proverbial political toilet, Team Bush and Right to Rise, the Super PAC backing his candidacy, began to spend big money to help stem the freefall in the polls he was enduring.
$33 million later, Bush has just about hit rock bottom, polling at 3.8%, according to the Real Clear Politics average of polls.
How much more will Team Bush and Right to Rise PAC have to spend just to start polling in double-digits?
Here are what the other GOP presidential candidates have spent thus far:

Love the look on Jeb’s face as he keeps hovering around 4%.
He really does not understand why. LOL
Pro illegal immigration/invasion and generally democrat only slightly lite. Maybe he could run as VP on Hillary’s ticket.

Should be one hell of an opus I would think, with slick Hollywood production values and some epic whining...
Actually everything is going according to plan, Yeb said he would win by losing.
I do think he hasn’t campaigned in Spanish often enough, though.
He’s not going anywhere. They think they have Trump now but of course they are wrong
“Blame Trump for that.”
No, sorry. Blame Bush for that. And all the rest of his dumb buddies.
Trump has spent $216,000.
“Trump, who has spent the least, enjoys an almost insurmountable lead in the polls.”
Bush ads and Rubio ads with a couple of Christie ads are running here in Michigan.
I kinda already forgot Tippy Toes was ever even running. He’s the Mark O’Malley of the GOP race.
NEVER hire Mike Murphy.....he’s a KNOWN LOSER!!
I am amazed Jeb did not run out of other people’s money weeks ago.
The funny thing is that if Trump had run as a Democrat, then Jeb would be in the lead and Hillary would probably be polling under 10%.
Kind of like advertising a crap sandwich.
There just isn’t enough money in the world to get people to eat it.
Poor Yeb. If only there were more old Republican shut-ins.
If the RNC wants him to be the Nominee it is only necessary for him to stay officially in the race all the way, even if he doesn’t get to participate in any more debates or get more than a % of the primary vote. If RNC wants him they will nominate him. If he becomes too embarrassing and they go with Rubio or hell, even Graham, the same thing holds for the chosen candidate. The GOPe members are going to have to know that they will lose financially by sticking with their own candidate. Losing the election will enhance their bank accounts so they are not concerned with that prospect. If Trump or Cruz somehow wins the nomination the GOPe will use all its remaining campaign resources and probably a lot of other resources to get the Democrat actually elected.
He might get to 4% if he stands on his tippy toes.
He knows why and he knows that to get nominated all he has to do is stay in the race, assuming the GOPe doesnt decide on an alternative such as Rubio or Kasich.
You could go up to Jeb and hand him a hundred million dollars and a promise of another hundred million by March. It doesn’t matter. He can’t win.
I honestly can’t even see a way now for Rubio to do anything but win Florida and place second in three other states (maybe Texas and California). It’s strictly a race between Trump and Cruz.
