Kalashnikov ammunition and Islamic State propaganda videos were seized in raids following the closure of a mosque in the Paris suburbs, French authorities said Sunday.
A revolver and jihadist documents were also found during searches at the homes of the mosque leaders, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said previously.
Police also found recordings of religious chants "glorifying the martyrs of jihad linked to the terrorist organisation Jabhat al-Nusra", the Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda, the prefecture added.
The recordings were found among a wealth of teaching material for youngsters in an undeclared madrassa, or religious school.

Good for the French. I remember hearing back in the 80s, I think, that the French hated the creeping of American culture and Americanisms into their culture. They think we are alien and obnoxious?! I can’t imagine why they have put up with this Islamic invasion for so long. I hope they don’t lose the memories of the Paris attack nor the momentum and courage. It’s only the beginning.

Truly I believe they thought there was an air of the exotic about the Muslims. The French view themselves as sophisticated and the air of mystery somehow added to their nuanced cultural palate in a way that crass Americanisms could not.
And let’s not forget that there is still an anti-Jew undercurrent in France. They would never, ever admit it. It’s there nonetheless.
