Since 1965 politicians from both parties have been trying to destroy America with their irresponsible immigration.
I just do not understand what the end game is.
There is not one issue or problem we have that is not caused by, or made significantly worse by, their immigration policies.
Example:
How can you win a “war on poverty” when the government keeps bringing in immigrants who are not, and will never be, skilled enough or motivated enough to be self reliant?
BUT the important question to ask ourselves. “Does this benefit the democrat party?” The answer is yes. An army of voters will always vote for the party that promises free stuff. There have been people i know on “unemployment” during the entire Obama presidency. They show know signs of looking for a job, let alone wanting a job. Why bother? I would LOVE if someone paid all my bills.
This is part of the larger process of re-setting wages to bare sustenance; people I know who lost their jobs 8 years ago in the financial collapse and went on to find other jobs were all making less - even for the same type/level of work. It appeared many financial firms just swapped staffs to eliminate accumulated benefits (like vacation time) while also ratcheting salaries down.
Absolutely disgraceful, and it has shown in consumer spending; in my area the only people spending money are government workers and those who don’t (and never will) have children. Expect no housing recovery, either; outside of those two groups, nobody is risking their life savings with their employment situations so precarious.
