I am really surprised. What kind of socialist would allow citizens to decide elections? Maybe things are so bad he wants the opposition to own the crash. Or just plain old take the money and run. Anyway I didn’t expect this result.
Well, they cheated in the last elections. I’m thinking folks there got mighty ornery not having any toilet paper.
They needed to keep up veneer, the legitimacy of their regime but unless they can get the “lame duck” session of the National Assembly to eliminate any powers over President Maduro and his government, there could be trouble.
The regime will find ways I’m sure maybe even assassination or something like that if they intend to prevent a 2/3 majority from reversing their rule.
That’s what I think, he wants them to own the crash. And the leftists will believe it.
