What I continue to see is an ambush of what was seen as two large clubs in conflict. What hasn’t been addressed, that I’ve seen, is what the intentions of both clubs were.
Where they both there to make war? Unlikely at such an open and public spot surrounded by marked police cars.
I think what is more plausible is that both clubs did come there, for the most part, to see what could be done to resolve this conflict. This is, after all, what these COC meetings are meant to do along with addressing political issues affecting motorcycle riders.
I’m inclined to believe there were some undercover LE in the Cossacks who’s main mission that day was to make sure a fight started. I doubt LE knew it would turn into such a clusterf##k but it did and now they are doing their best to mitigate the damage in the only way they know how. Cover up and deceit.
I do hope the criminals of the incestuous county LE bosses are eventually arrested and tried for their crimes. I find myself feeling disgusted by the street cops who went along with it but as a former military man; I do understand taking orders and the chain of command. The further down the chain you are; the less you know so sometimes one must blindly accept and follow orders not knowing why those orders go against the grain of what’s right.
Meanwhile, I like many others, will continue to monitor the process to see if true justice is done. So far all I see is a cover up and CYA tactics. Thanks to all who post info as it becomes available.
If, as an aside the Bandidos and Cossacks who showed up there showed up to resolve differences between those clubs, that isn't something within the scope of the COC&I.
Either way, it is certain that the presence of deployed police was noticed, and that any suspicions or hard feelings between clubs which had issues would be piqued, merely by questions raised by that presence.
Additionally, combat veterans would note the positioning of LEOs as an L shaped ambush formation, and that would raise additional questions as to police intent.
