The poor ladies name was in the press as a survivor...some low life thug figured out where she lived and knew she would go to the memorial or was watching her house and he/she went in after she left. Be careful out there folks its getting uglier and uglier. Be alert -be cautious-be vigilant!

Doesn’t matter. In California burglaries have become the new pastime. In our city they are hitting all over town. Nowhere is safe. A friend who lives in a gated community recently got hit. They take quick and dirty stuff that can be sold on Craigslist. The police won’t even come out anymore. They have you fill out a report on the phone basically for insurance purposes.

I’m guessing that she, photos of her wearing the stolen items, and her itinerary for the day — were all on her Facebook page.

Burglars —and identity thieves—routinely read obituaries and Facebook.
Always designate someone to watch your house when you attend a funeral
or wake. Don’t put mother’s maiden name or full married names of survivors in obits. Don’t announce your vacation plans on FB.
True story: my next door neighbor, whose husband died suddenly, asked me to watch her house while she was at the 3-hour visitation at the funeral home. The hours had been published in local paper and online.
I accosted a man and woman driving a van, asked them, ‘Can I help you?’
“We thought everyone was supposed to come here for condolences,” sez the driver.
I displayed my cellphone, etc, and explained that I was watching out for burglars, and the driver peeled out.
Turned out the suspicious people were the previous occupants of MY house, which had been foreclosed, and they had trashed it before being evicted.
My neighbor later told me her home had been burglarized a few years before, when these people were living in my house. But at the time, she’d never suspected them, because they were her next door neighbors.
I surely hope they didn’t find any Bible tracts or Christian material. The MSM would pay handsomely for some “evidence” to label yet another of these poor victims as bigots that are as bad as the two murdering Muslims.
