My guess is that he has cut deals and has in place specific ways to be profitable under Obamacare, and does not want someone who will rapidly alter it. In that regard, he's probably been given assurances by Jeb and the GOP establishment that there will be no rapid change. Sure, he could vote for a Democrat upfront if he wanted to keep Obamacare in place, but likely wants the pro-business aspects of a Republican administration, along with no one messing with his business model and plans. A conundrum. Where a man stands depends on where he sits.
