I told a friend today that California has the strictest gun control laws in America so how did these guns happen to get into the state. Of course he said that they were brought in from Arizona or Idaho a very easy state to get weapons. You can’t win with these people.

You mean only law abiding citizens are the only ones who followed the law and terrorist did not? Gee, maybe the answer is to arm citizens to protect themselves from the evil dems are importing and riling up.....but that does not help the dems goal taking away freedom and obtaining total control over people.

Who'd have thought entering 2016 that Maryland has a Conservative reformist Governor and Louisiana has a rotten leftist Democrat crook ? Aherm.

California has the toughest laws in the country. We probably have the second toughest. It hasn't stopped us.

Hasn't stopped the mass murders in Chicago either.

>> How about banning immigration by Muslims?

I’ve posted repeatedly that Islam is a war plan. But those born into its depraved servitude aren’t necessarily its warriors.

The Country’s greatest threat is the MSM. The unvarnished truth it deliberately omits would go a long way to realize a responsible govt that would otherwise vet the good from the bad.

Tell your friend that they weren't. The guns never left the state of California. They were legally bought by in California, and then illegally sold or transferred to the jihadis in California.

You might want to reread the article. It sounds like he’s agreeing with us on this one.

Yes, after my post I realized I had misread and then posted I had misread. This has happened before when I’m worked up about the idiocy around us. That’s my excuse.

How many times has anyone heard any politician ponder WHY we did not have the problems of today but they were rare up until the 70’s?

Could it possibly be that after that time people were deemed victims of everything and were relieved of that awful burden of personal responsibility? Of course it was.

Go back and look in old telephone directories and see just how many yellow page ads had anything to do with the legal profession, anything dealing with physiological treatments or health, or as the result of a government edict. Now look at today’s telephone book. There is a striking difference isn’t there?

Mental health has become a huge business and no one or anyone is responsible for their own actions simply because the infraction is due to something that affected their mental health and they need professional help and also need the legal profession to sue the crap out of anyone who even looks sideways at them.

However, today we live in a totally blameless society thanks to our legal and mental health businesses.

We might not be able to convince the lefties, but we can still convince the middle by showing them where the lefties are wrong.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan: Gun control isn ' t working

Step One: Admit you have a problem...

Well, it's a start...

At some point they will understand it ' s not a gun problem, it ' s a people problem

Or, as Trump proposed, since driving is a privilege and not a right, but driver licenses are honored among all States, then The 2nd Amendment issue which is a Constitutional Right, ought to be automatically honored in all States.

No need for a "Federal Permit" to exercise a Constitutional right...

I agree with Trump. Unfortunately the LEO minions of certain state cartels would be only too happy to lock my unlucky butt up if I got caught.

Yep - most of us who do agree with Trump think it's the government's job to set that policy and enact it. While some would be in favor of going "lone wolf", most of us believe and hope there is enough left to be able to salvage our Nation w/o full-blown anarchy because if it ever comes to that, all bets are off with what we end up with (except for the guaranteed blood in the streets.

My emotions sometimes nag at me, but my mind tells me that we need to stay defensive (armed and able to defend ourselves) rather than going on the offensive.

If you’re going to pass a federal law it should be to protect the right, not to further restrict it. “Alaska” carry in all 50 states would be a much better proposal; all citizens who are not federally prohibited persons based on current definition can carry on their person or in their vehicle in all 50 states without a permit.

Pennsylvania too - Tom Wolf.

Almost enough to make me want to move back to Maryland....almost. : )
