Satan told Eve, “Did God really say that? And you will surely not die.” Society still buys it hook, line and sinker today.

But here’s the one good thing: Charlie Brown is still going strong after 50 years (60 if you count the beginning of the comic strip) and “Scandal” will be forgotten in five.

The audience hears the words of Pope's father in voiceover during the procedure, saying, “Family is a burden ... a pressure point, soft tissue, an illness, an antidote to greatness. You think you're better off with people who rely on you, depend on you, but you're wrong, because you will inevitably end up needing them, which makes you weak, pliable. Family doesn't complete you. It destroys you.”
That's not edgy or honest. It's the biggest lie and whining I've heard from anything that calls itself a man. Real men teach their children to step up to the plate and accept responsibility. Shirkers and quitters have no place among the society of decent men. Sometimes you can be great or you can take care of your family and have virtue.
The writers of this filth need to watch It's a Wonderful Life a few times.

“The winter finale of ABC’s hit show, “Scandal.” In this now infamous episode, lead character Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, has an abortion, which the doctor performs to the strains of the Christmas hymn, “Silent Night.”
WTF???!!! They used the song “Silent Night” to celebrate an abortion! Hollywood has really outdone itself. I like to take snarky shots at the PC types, but this shocks even me. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing before?

I have probably seen way too much tv and other entertainments in my life but I am proud to say I have never watched Scandal and never will. On the other hand I was in a muppet show version of A Charlie Brown Christmas many moons ago now. We made muppets and performed it for a church Christmas play. It was a great success.
