OK, anybody here wanna whine about the WW2 internment of Japanese-, German-, and Italian-Americans?
BTW, my father got sh!t in WW2 - and frequent visits from the Gummn’t in the company he owned - because it was a war goods supplier. Why? His German surname.
The connection? His paternal grandfather was a German-born immigrant. Grandpa was born in 1832, came to the USA before age 20, and fought in the Civil War.
Germans have long been the largest ethnic group in America and probably a major reason why America is great.
... all before there was a Germany...
