When I go to the bank, and I want to cash a check, and they ask me for identification, I am NOT offended. Why? Because the bank is trying to safeguard against some Snothead coming in, claiming that they are me, and trying to withdraw MY money. The same goes for voting. If you are a citizen, and are entitled to vote, you SHOULD be able to vote, even if you want to vote for an avowed socialist. But, you would think, that, even the voter for an avowed socialist WOULDN”T want some poser voting under your name. The stated reason that minorities, under some obscure circumstances, do not have the proper documentation to secure voter ID is nonsense. The absolute infitintessimal number of people who might fall into that category does not outweigh the greater utility of having voter integrity for the body politic as a whole.

There’s a listing out there that I saw last year...showing fifty-odd things that require a picture ID (like getting a narcotic prescription at your drug store). If you exist in 2015, you have no choice in living a life with a picture ID on you. I would challenge anyone to live an year of normal life, without such an ID....it’s just not possible unless you want to live under a bridge or in some Alaskan wilderness.

Ask the NAACP how the hell these people collect their benefits without showing ID? And why isn’t it racist to show ID then but is to vote? My 84 year old White Mother can’t see anyone at Kaiser without showing ID first but I don’t scream racism, maybe I should start.

We have to show an ID here in Battle Creek.
I am wondering if maybe the shills in the NAACP are doing this bogus lawsuit as a “front” for the illegal aliens who will be trying to illegally vote - minority citizens obviously have to prove who they are at places other than voting booths.

It exposes the bs or their argument against voter id.
Also if blacks dont have ids, why not? And where is the black community fixing this problem secular society supposedly all knows about? Why are blacks allowed to go through life without valid ids when everyone else can somehow and are dxpdcted to have and produce ids?

Dear NAACP, what is your ânonprofitâ organization doing to assist your people to obtain photo id? My guess is probably nothing because they already have id to access government benefits and you know it. The problem isnât identification. It is opportunity to vote again and again or to vote where you want them to vote, not where they are eligible to vote, or to vote in place of another registered voter.Exactly - they appear to be trying to encourage "their peeps" to stay behind the times and in the shadows by being as socially non-conformist as possible---"We don't need no stinkin' IDs".
