As Donald Trump leads yet another national poll, the New York Times' Jonathan Martin asks a question that has consumed the political world: Can anyone inside the Republican Party -- via negative TV ads or a scorched-earth campaign -- stop Trump? And if so, do they even have the will do it? "Almost everyone in the party's upper echelons agrees something must be done, and almost no one is willing to do it," Martin writes.

The campaigns and allies for three establishment presidential candidates -- Jeb Bush, Marco Rubio and John Kasich -- have spent a combined $47.5 million in TV ads in the 2016 race so far, according to ad-spending data from NBC News partner SMG Delta. By contrast, the campaigns and allies for the three Republicans who have been leading or surging in the most recent polls - Donald Trump, Ben Carson and Ted Cruz - have spent just $2.9 million.

Wasting a lot of money ain’t they?
How much difference is there between an avowed "Social Democrat" (read: Communist) and the GOPe?
Lol...kind of what I was thinking :)
It gave me a chuckle, this morning.
Trump makes the MSM pay for his TV advertising just like he’s going to make Mexico pay for the wall. LOL!
I did some quick addition, and found that Rubio, Bush, Kasich, Christie and Paul have spent a combined total of $54.8 MILLION, and have a combined percentage of 28 percent in the polls, just one point above Trump.
I’d have to say that Trump is sure getting the most bang for his buck.
But, according to all the talking heads, they are in a much better position to win than Trump, because none of them have ceilings and the sky’s the limit for them, whereas Trump’s ceiling is about 27 percent.
If they do sink Trump—it will be the last thing they do—a new Party will form and crush the GOP.
BTTT
The real question: can the GOP sink itself? Well it has had a lot of practice.
Well, they all wanted to get big money out of politics. McCain and his democrat friends should be ecstatic.
One thing for certain. TRUMP knowS the value of an American Dollar. These, he’s certain, do not grow on trees. Could it be possible that WTP have at last found a frugal Man that would cast aside the money changers in the temple of DC? If that be the case ....THIS and the fact that, with TRUMP, JUSTICE will prevail is more than enough to give him my vote!
