IIRC there was an out of town couple who were coming out of Don Carlos when the gun fight started who have stated they were shot at and police in the vicinity brought them to safety.
No way of knowing whether these were stray bullets or fire directed at law enforcement, but considering the two restaurants stand directly opposite each other its quite likely the police there came under fire even if it was inadvertent.
In its lawsuit against Twin Peaks, the Don Carlos restaurant claims it came under fire also and I'll wager the police have video of bikers pointing guns in their direction even if their intended targets were much closer.
“Well, weâve heard all kinds of âstoriesâ from Waco PDâs own âBaghdad Bobâ to that effect.”
Translation for the non-paranoids: we have had official statements from the police to that effect.
“I strongly suspect that when the evidence comes out (and it will) there was no one shooting at the police.”
Translation: He has no evidence to doubt the police statements, but he’ll call them liars anyway.
“Apparently, Waco cops (and associated unnamed feds) do no wrong, therefore thereâs no need to pursue that angle.”
Well, if you have evidence of wrongdoing, by all means, share it with the class!
So far all you folks do is parrot rumors from pro-criminal biker gang bloggers, or try to deny the reality that criminal biker gangs even exist.

No couple appears on the video we have showing the Don Carlos entrance when the shooting begins.

So says the gullible (or perhaps simply true believer in said oppression) defender of statist oppressors. You are despicable sir!
Oh, by the way, I’ve changed my tagline.
“You are despicable sir!”
Coming from someone who believes paranoid conspiracy theories without evidence, I take that as high praise.
Like anyone cares.
Violation of the First, Fourth and Eighth Amendments are "paranoid conspiracy theories?"
All righty, then.
Claiming the police just decided to shoot people for no reason, when there is no evidence of that, is what I’m referring to.
I have seen very little of such claims. What have you seen that asserts that?
Lol...is that the only door to the restaurant?
Maybe they left out a patio side door or maybe they left a minute before the video tape you posted starts...it really doesn’t matter.
They were still in the Don Carlos parking lot when the gunfight started, came under fire, and gave an eyewitness account of their experience to local media two days later.
They're just practicing for the TEA party roundup.
Why don’t you go ahead and source that? Maybe it will state why they were using other than the main entrance.
No one has even been accused of Murder; hence no victim of murder.
Wouldn’t be much Justice in rounding up the Tea Party. But the IRS did their part. If the Zero had a 3rd term it would come to pass.
I doubt it would have mattered if it was a church group...
Oh, wait, they have been there, done that.
Fine point. As I read 106 were charged with “....knowingly causing the death ..”. Guess that is really homicide. Not sure what that means in Texas. Around here it is typically charged as manslaughter.
Had someone been shooting at police, then it is likely that there would have been damage to vehicles the police were beside and behind (judging from the location of evidence cones by those vehicles which would likely indicate LEO cartridge cases ejected from their firearms). Nothing of that nature has been published, even though it would have provided justification for police gunfire from the onset.
