Brilliant in more ways than one.

Cruz was getting pulled into the tarbaby the MSM and Left was creating by misrepresenting his “transgendered” comments about the CO killer.

So he full-on trolls them instead with this statement. They go full on thermonuclear on a playing field of Cruz’s own making and a issue he holds the high ground on, and the tarbaby gets pushed off to the side.

IBTTE.

“In before ‘The Trump Effect’.”

Which, as we all know, is malarkey.

Looks like Mr. Cruz is taking trolling lessons from the Trump, the "Troll Maester." LOL!

No, my fellow FReeper, there is a clear distinction between Cruz and Trump demonstrated here.

This is clearly a premeditated and carefully planned ambush by Ted, not a spontaneous, off-the-cuff remark or gesture open to interpretation and endless fact checking by liberal media attack dogs. Listen to the audio of the Hugh Hewitt interview (beginning at 8:05 time mark) and it's apparent in his smooth delivery it was a complete narrative planned long in advance.

It put the target of the attack in a box canyon of logic for which there is little chance of escape as Robert Gehl was quick to realize. The art of debate is to thoughtfully consider all the possible responses to every premise before opening one's mouth. Cruz proved again why he was a debating champion in college and had the Princeton debate club's novice championship named in his honor (Ted Cruz Living Memorial Novice Championship).

Now, if someone in the media just happens to come up with some "new study" disproving what Ted said, contrary to all studies in the past, we can be sure the methodology and data for the study is as phony and fraudulent as data alleged to support the anti-capitalist hoax of climate change.

... every time you have some sort of violent crime or mass killing, you can almost see the media salivating, hoping, hoping, desperately that the murderer happens to be a Republican so they can use it to try to paint their political enemies."

I haven't seen postings of "The Trump Effect." However, I don't think it would be an incorrect moniker. One man taking on the media is an easy target to isolate and embarrass by swamping him from all sides. Two voices are harder to silence especially when one of them has Cruz's intelligence and delivery. Trump's bombastic approach has helped draw flack and neutralize attacks that, in the past, proved effective at marginalizing other conservatives (i.e. Sarah Palin).

Of course you are correct in that Mr. Cruz is a master of language and logical debate, giving voice to well-thought-out speech and expression. Mr. Trump should be given credit for preparing the way. He has done an awesome job in opening up the enemy to focused attack.

Cruz explained that Democrats “fight to give the right to vote to convicted felons, why, because the Democrats know that convicted felons tend to vote Democrat.”

******************************************************************

A misunderstanding among many is that convicted felons aren’t allowed to vote already.

The fact is that most states already allow convicted felons to vote after they have served their time/parole/probation. Two states allow convicted felons to vote while they are in jail (Maine and Vermont).

Thanks. I was inspired this morning when I thought that our best presidents were not motivated by greed and/or power. Instead, they knew that America needed a leader that would do for the people what the people expect.

That ain't Obama, but that is Ted Cruz.

And so you can see why he wins so many cases in the COURTS.

I sure would hate to be on the opposite side of him in Court. I would plead GUILTY first, lol.

Using his tactics against Hillary would be priceless to watch.
