So I wonder what Bishop Barron will have to say about that?

Another case of BLM (Barack’s Lackeys Matter).

Sounds like a NEA funded art project.

If it was a mosque, it would be a hate crime. Everyone else is fair game. I hate it, but that is the reality we are faced with.

Sucks, went to school there through second grade and Mass till I was 13. Aside from Monsignor McGuiness, who imbibed too much of his namesake and stronger spirits, I have fond memories. Lynwood is a mostly Hispanic city now, this isn’t what I would expect and never had these problems when it transitioned to Black before the Hispanics.

Lynwood. I admire your bravery. I drove from Fullerton to LAX through Lynwood back in 1982. I drove through a red light when two punks were running toward my car.

The “demonic” symbols painted onto the church (Franciscans?) are truly demonic and show the true colors of the criminals. Our Lady of Victory, pray for us.

My parents moved us out of Lynwood in 1969, got my grandparents out in 71, but I would go back to visit friends for a few years after. I was so hard up for a job after eighteen months unemployment I even applied at the Lynwood School District, they didn’t hire me because I was too old and too White - seriously! That was in 2013 and I drove all around the city visiting what few old haunts still existed, wasn’t too bad, just kind of sad.

Thanks. Your parents and grandparents probably had a wonderful time in Lynwood before trouble started moving in. Driving around in 2013 sounds courageous. I know a sheriff who lives in Burbank and patrols in South Gage, Lynwood and Compton. I asked him if I could take friends for lunch in that area. He said, “No way. Don’t go.” The inference was that my car would be stopped by hoodlums.
