Every year, 400k people in Africa die from malaria, thanks to environmentalists who have managed to get pesticides banned.
An unknown number die from failed crops and starvation, because environmentalists use the IMF to ban dam construction in Africa.
Around 4 million people (half of them children) die prematurely each year from diseases related to indoor cooking fires - because environmentalists are pushing solar power in the third world instead of much more economical coal.
Some of this is attributable to Africa being a hellhole controlled by dictators, making long term investment in energy projects impossible. But, I believe the environmentalists are responsible for hundreds of thousands of deaths each year.
