A Syrian Catholic Church leader recently condemned both U.S. foreign policy and Western media for ignoring Christian persecution and worsening the conflict in Iraq and Syria.
"Innocent people, especially Christians, have no support. The West has betrayed us," Patriarch Ignace Joseph III Younan told Egyptian Catholic magazine Le Messager last week.

It looks like they’ve finally figured it out. The West has abandoned every Christian everywhere. Why should they be any different?

Why are Catholic charities among those who want to resettle Syrian refugees here...including non-Christians. Why don’t the Catholics, the Lutherans and the Jews focus on saving the Christians?
And we GET MAD because Christians now trust PUTIN more than our own president, to look after their interests.

Why should God continue to bless America when we wont help His weakest, shivering in terror...at home in abortion mills or abroad in persecuting areas.
We balance head in sand with isolationism and keep our malls open 24/7. And we deserve that, and gay marriage, and euthanasia, and every other plague we can heap upon ourselves in our gluttony.
