The 17-year-old she knew liked basketball, tacos and gym shoes, but he also had a troubled past.
âHe was a ward of the state,â she said. âHe was molested too.â

His mother at every point failed him, motherâs boyfriend abused him and he had to be removed from the home. And you wonder how he became a druggie and ended up high on PCP? Sure makes me happy his mother got $5 million dollars for how much she failed him.

Yes, I’m sure LaQuan was a model student who aspired to be a brain surgeon.

Has anybody reported on why the officer walked out of the car and basically opened fire almost immediately? That does not seem to be standard ROE, so did the officer snap or was there some history that indicated that shooting was called for?

He was a drug abusing teen thug who was headed full-speed down the wrong path and likely wasn’t going to live a long and fruitful life anyway. That still doesn’t justify the shooting.

The cop murdered this young man. His past makes no difference.
The blacks in Chicago should be marching on and occupying city hall. Rahm Emmanual is the person responsible to this indictment taking so long.
Why are Al Shapton and Jesse Jackson not demanding Rahm resign.

The city paid the family off to the tune of $5 million. That's how wrong the cop was. Question is, how come Obama is so silent about a real nasty police incident? Where is the DOJ? This reeks of Obama keeping his mighty mouth shut because his former Chief of Staff is Da Mayor.

the officer snap or was there some history that indicated that shooting was called for? Fox News has a story up that said the cop had 18 complaints filed against him for excessive force, or for racial taunting. So if I were investigating this incident, I'd start with the cop's past and not the civilian's past.

***The city paid the family off to the tune of $5 million.***
Check back in three years and see how much they have left.
My thoughts on such money giveaways to ghettos is, on Live TV, to bring up CASH in a BIG SUITCASE! Open it for the TV cameras, show the house where the people live, hand the money to them in the suitcase, on a Saturday afternoon when the banks are closed, (Friday, if the banks are closed on Saturday). Then withdraw the hated Po-lice from five miles around the area till Monday afternoon.
