One is my best friends is Dutch she and her husband are very liberal politically. But I have known for years that they are very anti Muslim.
I worked for many years for a Dutch company in Eastern NL about two hours due south of Enschede. Developed many good friends during that time. Assuming (as many people do)that you can measure the Dutch based on Amsterdam is a bit like judging all Californians based on San Francisco.
Almost all the people I worked with and knew had beliefs well founded in a conservative/libertarian vein, more so then I expected.
