Maybe they should just stop shooting people? There is no doubt at all that the vast, overwhelming majority of all police officers go out there every day and do a difficult and dangerous job, a job I freely admit that I couldn't do, and they do it well. But when that tiny minority step out of line and abuse their powers then the solution is not to blame the people of the neighborhood. When police officers do wrong they they deserve blame.
,,,,, the one bad apple syndrome , Who do you blame for the riots in Baltimore or Missouri ??? Thousands of people rioted long before the verdict was allowed ,, if not the neighborhood folks . Are all blacks bad because of a few ???
It's not a question of either/or. Michael Brown, the "Gentle Giant" was not a victim of police wrongdoing. Yet he's become the poster child for BLM.
If cops do wrong, hold them accountable...period. But anyone who thinks BLM is about police brutality is a fool. Cops who step back from active policing are acting rationally.
