I saw it first hand at Mesa College in San Diego. My sister in law saw it first hand in Palm Springs. I know people who saw it in Austin, TX. It is entirely plausible and even likely.

The FBI agent in the article says there were "stacks and stacks" of calls in his one local office in Boston. If that was happening in Boston, can you imagine what it was like in Jersey, much nearer to NYC ?

I lived in NJ across the river from ground zero in NYC and saw the destruction that day. I know there were celebrations in Libertyy park in JC.
