I read that the RNC deliberately front loaded the primary process this time, which means the early on winner gets a big leg up on the competition. There is a high likelihood that the primary race may be all sewed up by March 15 when the first winner take all state primaries occur. This is a sweet example of the RNC plotting to control the show and actually shooting themselves in the foot, never envisioning anyone like Trump coming along and blowing them to smithereens.
I find few things more satisfying than seeing the enemy hoisted on its own petard.

What was not factored in the GOPe equation was charisma, reality.
Consider House of Cards...... not a real person in the lot. All characters are persons but they are all driven by what amount to synthetic political realities. The GOPe was and is hung up on the synthetic candidate exhibiting all the well researched attributes.
Theodore Roosevelt was a charismatic person. He was real. So was Ronald Reagan. Scott Walker showed the tendency and then was destroyed by handlers insisting he become synthetic.
Trump is real. The charisma he exudes is catching and his reality is glommed onto by a public desperate for reality. Reality Trumps fake irrelevant gotcha by the presstitutes that are stunned when their smug tactics burn them a new one.
I’m still for Dr Ben but am enjoying watching Trump in action and projecting his possibilities on the world stage and the cast of phonies that act there every day.
