Another day and another conservative endorses Cruz. I think a lot of them just want to copy me and my endorsement of Cruz even before he announced ;>)

The KY Republican Party changed from the usual presidential primary to caucuses for 2016.
It was done to allow Rand Paul to be a candidate for President and still run for reelection to the US Senate next year.

The date was changed from May to March 5th. So it does allow KY to have some say in who will be the Republican nominee. Usually the nominee had already been determined by the time of the KY primary.
It is not a winner take all. Delegates will be awarded proportionately.
