The Russian peasants kicked Hitlers ass and drove his army back 1,000 miles with not much more than Mosin-Nagant rifles and -40 degree winters.

The modern Russian army is a lot better armed and backed by a nuclear weapon inventory.

I sure wouldn’t place my bets on Turkey if this situation escalates.

Turkey is a NATO member..

A attack on them is a attack on us all...

That is how it will go, in spite of protests to the contrary..

This Putin love affair is really getting weird.

“Turkey-NATO anniversary - 18 February 1952

“NATO is one of the essential dimensions of Turkish foreign and defence policy. Turkey has been an important member of the Alliance and a reliable Ally for 60 years.”

Ambassador Haydar Berk, Permanent Representative of Turkey to the North Atlantic Council”

I agree but don’t underestimate the Turks. They fight like maniacs also. As to Hitler, the Soviets had MASSIVE U.S. help like trucks etc. so they could just churn out tanks, tanks and oh yeah, some more tanks. Also huge amounts of heavy artillery. If they just had infantry they would have lost.
