This has the potential to be bigger than Ferguson Missouri and Baltimore. Mayor Emanuel has reportedly produced some PSA's asking people not to react violently when the video is released. He spent Monday meeting with clergy and community organizers begging for calm and order.

The cop in question shot McDonald 16 times, the video allegedly shows him being shot while on the ground. PCP was found in his system, and he had a blade, 3 or 4 inches depending on which story you read, and had already slashed a tire on a squad car.

Decision on whether to charge the officer tomorrow, video must be released by court order, no later than Wednesday.

Pray for peace and respectful demonstrations when the video is released. Chicago doesn't need more problems.

Gang member, criminal record, on PCP, threatening people and stealing, refusing to drop a weapon despite several guns trained upon him - yep I definitely get the picture that he was an honor’s student. The condescension just oozes from the press every time they show another idiot kid dressed up in a cap and gown. It is pathetic and needs to be savagely mocked. Thomas Wolfe made it very clear - the police only shoot young black men who are honor students.

An honor student hopped up on PCP attacking a cop with a knife and he had a record . The kid was probably so unwieldy that no one would dare engage him. Rahm already condemned the cop. Rumor has it that Anita Alvarez will seek first degree murder charges. The liberal reporters in Chicago are talking up "riots"

Could Obama have timed this better? Well, at least this is very interesting timing. Black Friday on Michigan Ave. will be interesting. I still don't get why Blacks don't get furious at Black vs Black murders, especially their children, but when a white policeman makes a horrendous mistake the whole world has to burn down. But that's me.
