Funny, I didn’t read it that way at all. I think Scanlon understands EXACTLY what Trump is all about, and what it is that distinguishes him from all other candidates. I don’t see condescension to any degree-—when he says things like “putting the kibosh on cheap landscapers” he’s doing so derisively in the voice of Trump’s detractors and calling them on it. Just as he did at the beginning when he asks rhetorically “But JFK was a ‘visionary’ and Trump is an IMBECILE,right??” It is frankly one of the most brilliant and to-the-point analyses I have ever read of any political candidate, and the ONLY one which shrewdly addresses the “Trump Phenomenon”
