Actually, the last time Argentina had a truly right of center President appears to have been been during the military Junta that’s rule ended in 1973.
The last elected right of center President was overthrown by a leftist military coup in 1943.
Carlos Menem was President in the 90’s (until 99), he was a Peronist but a moderate I guess and put some conservatives in his cabinet so they don’t consider him left.
They must consider the dude who came before Nestor Kirchner (12 years ago) to have been a moderate too but he was of the same party, the Peronist party.
