John Bel Edwards is pro-gun and pro-life and being a military vet looked good on his resume.
GOP voters simply deserted Vitter. Even GOP parishes went for Edwards.
I thought Vitter would win or at least be able to call for a recount.
Also Vitter supported what the GOP did for Thad Cochran next door in Mississippi. Flip him the finger and let him go. What goes around comes around.
